Analisis Rute Distribusi Produk Air Mineral dalam Kemasan (AMDK) (Studi Kasus CV. Airku Indo Berkah Jember)
Abstract
Selection of the right distribution route will help the company achieve a
level of distribution efficiency, so that distance, time and transportation
costs can be reduced. CV. Airku Indo Berkah is a company engaged in the
distribution of mineral water products, especially the Al-Qodiri and Jember
City brands. CV. Airku Indo Berkah is required to be able to create reliable
product distribution performance. Based on the survey results, the company
currently has two routes that are used in marketing its products specifically
in the Ajung, Jenggawah, Ambulu and Wuluhan sub-districts. Total distance
of 104.29 km and 106.1 km, respectively, with outlets visited a. Then in its
implementation. Algorithm heuristic used in the research This is the Nearest
Neighbor method and the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) method. The
two methods above is a basic heuristic method that can be used in solving
route determination problems which can then be refined using metaheuristic
methods. Therefore, this study aims to find and determine the distribution
route with the shortest distance to solve TSP problems and optimize the
distribution process of bottled drinking water in CV. My Air is Indo Berkah
Jember. The Nearest Neighbor produces a total distance of 72.34 km with a
distance saving percentage of 30.64% and 31.82% from the initial route.
While the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) method produces a total
distance of 72.14 km with a percentage of distance savings of 30.83% and
32.01% from the initial route
