Pengaruh Stress Secara Molekuler Terhadap Terjadinya Oral Candidiasis
Abstract
Introduction. Mental stress is a predisposition factor in the development of oral
candidiasis. The central nervous system will respons to mental stressby transmite a
signal stress to HPA axis. Further more hypotalamus will than produces carticosteroid
hormon (CKH)which leads to the activation of pitutarygland to release ACTH.
Furthermore ACTH will induce the release of glucokarticoid, which will be than reduce
the body defence mechanism and inflamation by preventing antigen presentation
performed by macropag, lympocite proliferation as well as lympocite diifferentation to
become efector cells such as Tn, TC, NK, cellβ.Glucosteroid it self willl promotes the
increement of local IL. 1β, IL .6, IL. 8 in the gingival crevice and leading to the
reduction of sig A, Ig G and neutrophil fuctions.Oral candidiasis is an opportunity
infection caused by the over development of C Albican. Altgough in normal condation
C albian is a normal and flora of the mouth. How ever it can be turned in to patogenic
when human body diffence is lower.Aim of the study. The aimof this study is to discuss
in a molecular approachany possible imune cell that is affected by mental stress
condition, which also induces the C.Albican to become pathogenic. Discussion. C.
albicanis a normal flora of the mouths. It can change into pathogenic due to the
occurance of mental stress, which induces the reduction of human body deffence, and
cause the reduction of Sig A, Ig G. This Sig A have the ability to prevent C. Albican
adhesivenes in oral mucouse cells. The main couse of oral infection is the adhesiveness
of microbacteria into the mucouse cells. The reduction of sig A will provide an
opportunity to the adhesivityness disturbances. The function of Ce T is to destroy
pathogenic cell and to actified B cell as well as other imune cells.Mental stress will
provide a high chance to the development of oral candidiasis, and further more the
candidiasis can spread wider to other organ, as T and β cells reducetheir function in
destroying pathogenic cells.Conclusion. The realtionship mechanism of stress and the
development of oral candidiasis can be used as refference in the management chronic
deseases especially in the case of oral candidiasis.
