    Abstract
The Mass Balance Evaluation on the Processing Coffe in Sidomulyo Village aims to determine the mass flow input-output semi-wet processing of coffee in the Village Sidomulyo in a one-time processing of coffee. Semi-wet processing of coffee is the perfect applied among farmers compared with full wet coffee processing. Criteria of wet and semi-wet processing of coffee was based on the needs of water for processing. Water requirement for semi-wet processing of coffee between 8-9 m3 per ton, and wet processing between 12-15 m3 per tonne. The purpose of this study was to determine the yield of HS from processed coffee beans, calculate the mass loss (material that can not be detected), and predict water demand in the semi-wet coffee processing. Method of this research directly investigating the processing of coffee semi-wet to a one-time processing. Data taken in the form of primary and secondary data, primary data in the form of (i) the amount of raw material (kg), (ii) the amount of coffee beans HS output (kg), (iii) the amount of water (l), (iv) the time (hours) , while the secondary data in the form of the density of water (kg/m3). The results of this study showed that the yield of the semi-wet processing of coffee in the Village Sidomulyo amounted to 54.8%. Loss of mass in the form of material that was not detected in the process of stripping the largest is the skin that is equal to 635 kg or 62%, while in the washing process is 381.8 kg, or 38%. Water requirements for the processing of coffee in the Village Sidomulyo amounted to 6654.9 kg, at what stage washing process that is 4275.31 kg of water or 64% of the overall water demand. While the stripping of skin between the water needs of 2380.62 kg of water or 36% of the overall water demand. The water requirement of 6654.9 kg or 6.65 m3 proved that the processing of coffee in the Village Sidomulyo included in the criteria for semiwet coffee processing.
