STUDI KELAYAKAN BEBERAPA JENIS ZEOLIT ALAM SEBAGAI ADSORBENT PADA SISTEM REFRIGERASI ADSORPSI
Abstract
Adsorption cooling technology has several advantages compared to
compression cooling, but in Indonesia, the application of asorption cooling
technology is very still limited. This is because there were only a very limited
amount of research had been done on this topic.
The several objectives of this research were to study the appotunity of
some local natural zeolites to be used as adsorbent in an adsorption cooling
system and to discover the effect of zeolite type and size on adsorption capacity
and adsorption rate.
From the research, it can concluded that all of three type of zeolite studied
were feasible to be used as adsorbent in an adsorption cooling system. At the time
of optimal adsorpsion, value of adsorption capacity white zeolite reach 0,0334
