Pengaruh Beberapa Model Pengendalian Terhadap Populasi dan Intensitas Serangan Ulat Grayak (Spodoptera Litura) pada Pertanaman Kedelai Edamame PT. GMIT
Abstract
Edamame soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.) is a legume plant with high productivity reaching 3.5 tons/ha. Edamame cultivation faces obstacles due to Spodoptera litura attacks which can reduce yields by up to 80%. PT GMIT controls this pest using chemical pesticides that have negative impacts, so integrated control is needed using botanical pesticides, light traps, Trichogramma sp., Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, and Bacillus thuringiensis. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 11 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the P10 treatment, which is a combination of biological agents and physical methods, was effective in suppressing the population and intensity of S. litura attacks. The P10 treatment recorded the lowest average imago population (0.94 individuals), the lowest larvae (8.17 individuals), and the lowest attack intensity (26.90%). The results of the ANOVA test showed a significant effect on the imago population (p = 0.007), larval population (p = 0.008), and attack intensity (p = 0.000). Thus, the P10 treatment was proven effective and has the potential to be a sustainable pest control solution in edamame cultivation at PT GMIT.
