Kelayakan Isi dan Bahasa Buku Ajar Bahasa Indonesia Tingkat Lanjut Kelas XI Kurikulum Merdeka Penerbit Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan
Abstract
Textbooks play an important role as a supporting tool and means of academic
practice for students. If students use good quality textbooks, then they can take
advantage of this role to get maximum learning results. There are parameters used
as a reference for authors and publishers to measure the quality of textbooks,
including content standards and language standards. Although these parameters
are used as well as possible, it cannot be denied that hypotheses about
imperfections always exist, including the possibility of errors from the team of
writers and publishers in compiling textbooks. For these considerations, the
researcher wants to review the feasibility of the content and language of advanced
Indonesian language textbooks for class XI of the independent curriculum
published by Kemendikbud The theoretical basis used is the policy of the Education
Assessment Curriculum Standards Agency (BSKAP). This research includes
qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The data of this research is the
material substance and language of advanced Indonesian language textbooks. This
research uses documentation and purposive sampling techniques. Based on the
results of research on the feasibility of content and language of textbooks, there are
6 components that have different assessments. The components of morality,
synchronization, validity, and leveling of coursebooks are considered very good.
Meanwhile, the visibility component and the component of using good and correct
Indonesian language are rated less well. In a sense, overall, the data found shows
that the materials and reading materials have been organized very well but are less
integrated and pay less attention to writing grammar. Thus, this study can be
concluded that advanced Indonesian language textbooks published by
Kemendikbud have good quality with a note that it is necessary to improve the
quality of the visibility of the material and needs improvement in the grammar of
writing.
