Indeks Kesuburan Tanah pada Berbagai Penggunaan Lahan, Jenis Tanah, dan Kemiringan Lereng di Sub DAS Arjasa
Abstract
The lack of adequate information about soil fertility in a watershed can lead to land use that is not in accordance with its capacity and suitability. This study aimed to (1) determine the status of soil chemical properties in Arjasa Sub Watershed, (2) determine the value of soil fertility index and its distribution in Arjasa Sub Watershed, (3) determine the effect of land use, soil type and slope on soil fertility of Arjasa Sub Watershed. This research was conducted in May 2023-complete. The research was a soil survey by taking soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm. Parameters observed were pH, C-organic, Total N, Available P, Exchangeable K, CEC, Exchangeable Ca, and Exchangeable Mg. The results of soil analysis were used to calculate the soil fertility index. The results of laboratory testing showed that the soil fertility index in the Arjasa Sub-watershed ranged from 146.7-228.3, which was classified as rather low to rather high. Land use, soil type, and slope have a significant effect on soil fertility in the Arjasa sub-watershed.
