Karakterisasi Morfo–Fisiologi Tanaman dalam Respon Terhadap Cekaman Salin dan Suhu Tinggi pada Beberapa Padi Lokal Indonesia
Abstract
Rice is the main food crop for Indonesian people. Rice breeding program efforts need to be done to maintain the stability of food production. The importance of the characterization program is the initial part to look for or find potential genetics in rice plants, especially against a combination of concurrent stress. This research was conducted to determine the morpho-physiological response of plants to saline stress and high temperature in some Indonesian local rice. The results of this study were analyzed using CRD (Complete Randoised Design). The results showed that the Indonesian local rice (Oryza sativa L.) used gave a different response to saline stress and high temperature. Each accession has a different resistance level. Based on the research results, Rojolele is included in the high resistance class. Gajah Mungkur, Kalimutu, Jatiluhur, Batang Ombilin, Mahakam, Nona Bokra, Bengawan, Sintha, Sukamandi, Seratus Malam, Cabacu, Barumun, Cisadane, Cibodas, Gilirang, Ciherang and Cisokan are included in the resistance class. Meanwhile, Kapuas, Pucuk, IR64, Bengawan Solo, Memberamo, and Fatmawati are included in the medium resistance class.
