Implementasi Metode Braille Card Sorting dalam Analisis Arsitektur Informasi Aplikasi Traveloka pada Pengguna Tunanetra
Abstract
The Traveloka application has been downloaded 114 million times and has
been established since 2012, but it was found that the information architecture
presented was still not suitable for users with visual impairments, especially in the
booking and plane ticket and train ticket features. Blind users who have used this
application feel that there is some information that is not needed or that it is difficult
to understand the readability of the information contained in it. The aim of this
research is to determine the percentage results of the similarity of the information
architecture in the Traveloka application for blind users using Braille Card
Sorting, so that a recommendation for the information architecture of the Traveloka
application for blind users is obtained. The research results show that the
percentage of information architecture similarity is 78.42% for the plane ticket
booking feature and 74.32% for the train ticket booking feature. This shows that
some of the available information already meets the needs and desires of blind
users, but slight improvements are needed to cover the lack of similarity of 21.58%
for the plane ticket booking feature and 25.68% for the train ticket booking feature.
The changes that can be seen are in reducing some unnecessary information and
shifting information to adjust the focus of the information on one page.
