Evaluasi Usability Aplikasi in Drive Terhadap Penyandang Tunanetra Menggunakan Metode System Usability Scale (SUS) Dan Semi-Structured Interview Berbasis Kuasi-Etnografi
Abstract
InDrive, an online platform for booking vehicles, facilitates direct interaction between passengers and drivers through competitive pricing. Although visually impaired individuals heavily depend on InDrive for their mobility requirements, concerns persist regarding the usability of the application. This research aims to assess the usability of InDrive through a thorough evaluation focusing on user expectations and the overall enhancement of the user experience. The methodology employed in this study integrates the use of the System Usability Scale with a Semi-Structured Interview, employing a quasi-ethnographic approach specifically tailored for the mobile-based InDrive application. Four participants undertook three distinct tasks designed to simulate general user activities on the InDrive platform. Notably, participants expressed dissatisfaction with two critical aspects: the lack of navigation guidance for drivers approaching the pickup location and the inaccessibility of the chat button. These findings underscore the need for further research to more precisely refine InDrive's accessibility, especially for individuals with visual impairments. Despite the identification of minimal challenges, the study suggests that sustained efforts are necessary to ensure InDrive adequately addresses the needs of all users, including those with visual impairments, thereby enhancing the overall inclusivity and usability of the platform.
