Analisis Korelasi Karakter Agronomi Kuantitatif Terhadap Penentu Hasil Biji Kacang Kratok (Phaseolus Lunatus)
Abstract
Kratok bean (Phaseolus lunatus L) is a leguminosae plant. Kratok bean
plants in Indonesia are not well known by the public even though they have potential
content that can be utilized as alternative food ingredients. Kratok bean plants are
also one of the many types of legume plants in Indonesia so that it is often quite
difficult for ordinary people to recognize this plant because of morphological
similarities with other legume plants. Research or development related to various
types of beans or local legumes such as kratok beans in Indonesia has not been well
developed or even almost unheard of. So that exploration activities related to kratok
bean plants are needed to find out how its morphological characteristics and its
development. Therefore, in this study, research was conducted on the
morphological characters of kratok beans, especially the relationship between
quantitative agronomic characters and the yield of kratok beans so that it can be
known which quantitative characters have the most significant influence and can
be a selection character to determine the yield of kratok bean plants. In this study,
there were 20 accessions with 3 replications so that the total number of plants was
60 plants. This research used a Randomized Group Design. Then continued with
correlation analysis and path analysis. In this study, it was found that the
characters that had a significant effect on seed yield and could be used as a
selection for determining the seed yield of kratok bean plants were pod weight
characters.
