    Abstract
    Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) is one of palawija commodity are widely cultivated in Indonesia. Groundnut production in Jawa Timur tends to decrease in recent years. In agriculture activities has various of obstacle biotic agronomy like pest or disease infection. Damping off is main disease of groundnut plant caused by Sclerotium rolfsii. Plant symptoms consist of two phases are pre-emergence and post-emergence. The biocontrol agents can be use as alternative practice to against plant pathogens caused damping off. Trichoderma sp. is one of biocontrol agents have been widely use as antagonistic fungal to against several plant pathogens with mechanism antibiosis, parasitism, and competition. Trichoderma sp. application can by seed treatment method. Seed treatment with biocontrol agent has the potential for protecting plant life cycles with root colonization and suppressing disease infection in plants. This study was designed in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatment, namely: Seed soaking with sterile aquadest (control), isolate KN01, isolate BP01, isolate JS02, isolate TB01, and isolate CN01. The result showed that isolate TB01 is one of the best isolate Trichoderma sp. with incubation period post-emergence 6 days longer than control, disease incidence in pre-emergence 1.67% and post-emergence 18.65%, disease severity 12.63%, and controlling effectiveness 47.95%.
