Sistem Pakar Diagnosa Jenis Gangguan Jiwa Skizofrenia Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Dempster Shafer
Abstract
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that has become a problem in recent decades.
According to the Ministry of Health, the incidence of mental disorders in Indonesia
in 2020, especially various schizophrenic mental disorders, ranked second. This
data was collected based on 2018 data. There were 58,520 people with
schizophrenia in East Java Province, and 1,878 people lived in Jember.
Schizophrenia itself is a psychiatric disorder that affects brain function—the
patient's normal cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions. The number of
people affected in 2018, especially in Jember, is due to a lack of knowledge and
concerns about mental health issues, which remain under-represented. Based on
this, an expert system based on the Dempster-Schafer method was created to help
people get an early diagnosis of schizophrenia and at the same time get information
about the diversity of schizophrenia. This website-based system diagnoses people
with schizophrenia using calculations based on weightings of disease symptom
scores determined by experts. This web-based system can diagnose the type of
schizophrenia you've had before, minimizing the impact on patients of delayed
treatment. Expert systems are a form of artificial intelligence (artificial
intelligence) development based on computer programs aimed at bringing
knowledge, perception, and human knowledge into computers. The DempsterSchafer

probability of an event. The system divides six types of schizophrenia into 43
symptoms and identifies them by interviewing experts about the belief value of each
symptom. The results of this study were 100% accuracy using the Dempster-Schafer
method for early diagnosis of schizophrenia patients.
