Abstract
The main objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning history after using local history-based e-module discovery learning through validity testing, user testing, and field trials. This study uses a 4D model development (R&D). The subjects of this study were 83 students of class X SMA Bondowoso Regency. The instruments used included tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation with qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Based on the validator's assessment of study experts, a score of 85% was obtained, 90% for linguists, and 86.6% for design experts, each score included in the category "very good" so that it is feasible to be applied as teaching material. User test results obtained a score of 80% in the "good" category while the effectiveness test on small groups obtained a score of 97% in the "Large effect” with high effectiveness. The effectiveness test on large groups obtained a score of 98% in the category "Large effect" with high effectiveness. Thus the development of local history-based e-module discovery learning has a high level of effectiveness as teaching material to support the learning process of history to the fullest.
