Abstract
One of the main parts of children's education is learning numbers. In Indonesia,
many schools implement Islamic-based learning, so numbers are also taught using
Arabic, not just Indonesian. However, many children still have difficulty
recognizing the Arabic numbers 1-10, as was found in group B at Al-Irsyad Al
Islamiyah Kindergarten in Situbondo. The purpose of this study was to determine
the effect of Arqam Jungle media on the ability to recognize mufrodat al-adad in
children in group B at Al-Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Situbondo Kindergarten. The
research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental research pattern
and used a Non-Equivalent Control Group research design. The subjects of this
study were groups B2 and B3 with 37 children, consisting of control and
experimental groups. The results showed that Arqam Jungle media had an effect
on children's ability to recognize mufrodat al-adad, as indicated by a significance
value (2-tailed) of (0.00<0.05), which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is
rejected.
