Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran konvensional dinilai belum optimal dalam meningkatkan
kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi, sehingga
diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mendorong kemandirian belajar. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Self Directed
Learning (SDL) berbantuan media Coggle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif
siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode
quasi experiment dan desain Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Instrumen
penelitian berupa tes esai yang mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan
indikator fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 60, sedangkan kelas
eksperimen sebesar 81 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat kreatif. Indikator
kemampuan berpikir kreatif tertinggi terdapat pada indikator fluency. Hasil uji
Independent Sample T-test memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang
menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran selfdirected learning berbantuan media Coggle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif
siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran Geografi.
ABSTRACK
Conventional learning is considered not yet optimal in improving students’
creative thinking skills in Geography learning; therefore, a learning model that
encourages independent learning is needed. This study aims to examine the effect
of the co(SDL) model assisted by Coggle on students’ creative thinking skills in
Geography at the senior high school level. This research employed a quantitative
approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Post-Test Only Control Group
Design. The research instrument consisted of essay tests designed to measure
creative thinking skills based on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality,
and elaboration. The results showed that the average score of the control class was
60, while the experimental class achieved an average score of 81, which was
categorized as very creative. The highest score among the creative thinking
indicators was found in fluency. The results of the Independent Sample T-test
indicated a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, meaning that there was a significant effect
of the self-directed learning model assisted by Coggle on students’ creative thinking
skills in Geography.
