Electrical injury is damage to the tissues or organs of the body due to the flow of electric current
through the body. The Blood vessel is one of the tissues that is damaged when an electrical injury
occurs. One of the damages to the blood vessel is the presence of thrombus that can interfere with
blood flow and cause the management of electrical injury to be less good. The purpose of this
study was to analyze the histopathology of rat blood vessel based on the distance of entry wound
after electrical exposure. The type of research was true experimental laboratories with post test
only control group design. This study used 25 Wistar strain rats which were divided into five
groups. One controlled and the rats in the other four groups were exposed to 140 V electrical
potential for 17 seconds. The control group was not exposed to electricity, the H0 group
terminated on the 0

day after the exposure of electricity, the H3 group terminated on the 3

post electrical exposure, the H7 group terminated on the 7
-day post electrical exposure, the H10
group terminated on the 10

day post exposure to electricity. In this study, the percentage of
thrombus in the right saphenous artery was observed. Hypothesis accepted if the data analysis
using One Way ANOVA or Kruskal Wallis was p <0.05. In this study, it was found that the
percentage of thrombus will decrease as the farther from the entry wound, except in the H7 group.
Also, the result showed that thrombus percentage increased over time and decreased at a certain
time. However, in this study, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in
blood vessels histopathology, especially thrombus based on the distance of entry wound on days
