Laporan Kasus: Osteoma Tulang Zygomatycum Sisnistra dengan Pendekatan Pemeriksaan Klinis dan Radiografis
Abstract
Background : Osteoma is a benign tumor that attacks bone tissue from the proliferation of
compact bone or consellous or a combination both of them. Osteoma often occurs without
symptoms, slow-growing and can be stabilized within a few years. Osteoma The etiology of osteoma is
unknown, but there are several opinions as to the cause osteoma..Purpose : to learn about osteoma
zygomatycum osseussisnistra clinical and radiografis examination. Case : osteoma zygomatycum
osseussisnistra with symptoms as extraoral swelling, asymmetric face, normal colour, hard concistensy
on zygomatycum osseus, and painless. Management of osteoma by performing surgery on cosmetic
grounds. Surgery can be done through extraoral to get a good view and expossure as well as ass to
prevent the damage in the surrounding structures .Conclussion : Osteoma was a benign tumor that
attacks bone tisuue and arise from the proliferation of compact or consellous bone as well as a
combination from both of them. Commonly, management of osteoma was with the surgery.
