The aim of this study was to improve the activity and results of the
study of history by using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation. The
subjects were students of class X IPS 1 MAN jumlah meditated with 42 students. The
indicators examined are activity and learning outcomes. Learning activity cycles 1 to
obtain a percentage of 64.28%, cycle 2 percentage gain of 73.17%, cycle 3
percentage gain of 81.58%. Cognitive learning results obtained percentage of
64.28%, cycle 2 the results obtained percentage of 78.57% and cycle 3 percentage
gain of 83.33%, the affective aspect in cycle 1 was 69.68%, psychomotor aspects of
68.09 %. In cycle 2 of learning outcomes gained 78.57% affective, psychomotor
aspects of 70,63%. Cycle 3 of affective gain of 83.33%, 83.33% psychomotor
aspects.
