LABELING, PACKAGING AND MARKETING ACTIVITIES OF KERUPUK AND RENGGINANG PANARUKAN SITUBONDO
Abstract
The villagers are productive communities that have a productive SMEs business of
Kerupuk and rengginang, but there are still fundamental problems related to labeling, marketing
and packaging that are not yet effective and efficient. Through these activities, the community's
productive business has been assisted in PIRT process, but the labeling, packaging and
marketing are still very simple and not durable.
These activities will be done by the socialization method and training the productive
community of Posdaya members,especially on making the labeling, packaging and marketing
processes more effective and efficient to save the production cost due to the process of
marketing, labeling and packaging that is more practical and saving time as well as improving
the quality and quantity of Kerupuk and rengginang production by applying the appropriate
technology. Increasingthe revenue of productive community that own the kerupuk and
rengginang business with the application of technology is more effective, easier, and more
preferred by consumers in terms of quantity and quality.
The solution offered in the implementation of this activity is divided into four stages of
the implementation and the target is productive communities of Gelung Kartika Posdaya
members and Siaga Village Posdaya of Galung, Panarukan, Situbondo. These four
implementation stages are: Knowledge of effective and efficient marketing process to
consumers, Technology skills transfer for labeling, packaging or pressing process by using Hand
Sealer pressing tool, Implementation of effective and efficient consumer marketing, and Using
the Pressing tools or packaging on the product so that the empowerment of Gelung Village
communities will be improved by their active role in that community Posdaya.
