dc.description.abstractThe aerial part of Eugenia aromatica, Eugenia polyantha, and Eugenia cumini has been known widely to have antioxidant properties, but their leaves has not been revealed yet. The antioxidant activity of aethanolic extracts of E.aromatica, E.polyantha, and E.cumini leaves were investigated using DPPH method. The result shows EC50 value is 36,19 ± 2.65; 59.81 ± 1.75; and 49.45 ± 5.08 ppm for ethanolic extract of E.aromatica, E.polyantha, and E.cumini leaves respectively. While quersetin as antioxidant standart has EC50 value of 9.82 ± 0.09 ppm. The antioxidant activity of the fourth samples have significant difference.en_US
