dc.description.abstract | Technopreneurship in medical services, especially in the field of
aesthetics medicine was often considered as the contrary to the moral norm of
physician profession that emphasize on humanity. Further more, based on the
fact most doctors did not work based on evidence-based medicine (EBM), which
was used as a frame of thinking in taking a clinical decision. The aim of this
writing was giving a clear description how to integrate technopreneurship
education in the module of aesthetics medicine in the curriculum of medical
education. Based on the study of the implementation of the module about
aesthetics medicine in Medical Faculty of Jember University from 2009 to 2012,
the integration of technopreneurship, EBM, and the morale could be applied. By
using strategy of problem based learning, the students were expected to have
the competence. They were given the opportunity to learn in an active way and
to have the real learning experience in the laboratory or workplace.
Technopreneurship education could be taught in medical education in an
integrated way in the module of aesthetics medicine. | en_US |
