Peranan Asam Oksalat dan Sitrat Terhadap Ketersediaan Fosfat Oxisol
Abstract
Oxisol soil has a high phosphorus sorption, because it is dominated by mineral
oxides-hydroxides of Al and Fe. The addition of oxalic acid and citric acid can
help dissolve the rock phosphate P. This research was aimed to determine the
ability of oxalic acid and citric acid in releasing P in rock phosphate. In addition
was to study the interaction between oxalic acid and citric acid with their
concentrations of 0 and 25 mM in removing P. This study was performed using a
complete randomized factorial design (2x2) with 3 replications. The first factor
was the type of acid, oxalic acid and citric acid. While the second factor was the
concentration of the acid, 0 and 25 mM. Phosphate deposits used in this study
were obtained from Pamekasan, Tuban, Ciamis, and Cileungsi. The soil should be
incubated first for 20 and 40 days prior to analysis. The results of this study
showed that the interactions between acids and their consentrations dissolved rock
phosphate P on all deposits significantly except of Ciamis deposits.
