PEMANFAATAN MUSEUM MPU PURWA SEBAGAI SUMBER PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH

Abstract

Museum Mpu Purwa is one museum in the city of Malang that stores a collection of objects from the pre-history up to the Age of Hindu-Buddhist. This study describes about the historicity of the collections of the Museum MPU Purwa, the relevance of the existing collections at the Museum Mpu Purwa of the history of learning resources and Museum Mpu Purwa utilization as a source of learning history. This study uses historical research. Museum MPU Purwa widely used by schools to support the teaching of history, because of the relevance of the collections of the museum with the subject matter in school.
