ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MENDASARI KEPUTUSAN PETANI DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN BERUSAHATANI SENGON DI DESA KARANGHARJO KECAMATAN SILO KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

The farmers in Karangharjo Village generally farm by planting or attempting of seasonal crops such as maize, rice, chili, and etc, because of the constraint faced is the uncertainty of farmer’s income, due to selling price is erratic and lately often decreases. The farmers choose sengon as their crop that is cultivated in their farming, because sengon has a relatively high economic value. In this regard, it takes the ability of farmers to intensify cultivation of sengon and change the traditional farming cultures to the professionals so that in the future it can increase the farmer's income.
