FAKTOR LINGKUNGAN DAN SELF EFFICACY NARAPIDANA PENYALAHGUNA NARKOBA TERHADAP PERILAKU BERISIKO HIV/AIDS (Studi Kualitatif di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II-A Jember)
Abstract
The increasing number of drug abuse prisoner and illicit drugs in the prison, has
increased HIV transmission to the occupants of detention and correctional facilities.
The purpose of this study is analyzing the environmental factors and self-efficacy of
drug abuse prisoners to the behavioral risk of HIV / AIDS in Correctional Institution
Class II-A Jember. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach.
In-depth interviews were conducted to 8 drug abuse prisoners using purposive
sampling technique. In-depth interviews were conducted to obtain a more in-depth
information about the variables under study. Based on this study which involved
inmate drug abusers in productive age (21-30 years), with secondary school
education level (high school graduate / equivalent) and being prisoned for ≤ 2 years,
environmental factors in prison is fair in terms of prevention of HIV / AIDS. In
general, drug abuse prisoners have a high self-efficacy to avoid risk behaviors of HIV
/ AIDS and risk behaviors of HIV / AIDS in prison is low. But practically, bullets
installation were still widely found. Bullets installation could increase HIV / AIDS
transmission risk because of injuries. Besides, the tool used to set the bullets is not
sterile (the knife made of brush) and used interchangeably.
