dc.description.abstractAntioxidant activity and identification of antioxidative compounds of Antidesma bunius (L.) Spreng from Jember were investigated. The fruits was extracted whit n-hexane and etyl acetat. Extract was concentrated using rotary evaporator. Etyl acetate Extract was partitioned using column chromatography with stationary phase Silica gel 60 and mobile phase chloroform : methanol (96 % : 4 %).The process produced tree fractions. DPPH method were used to examine the antioxidant activity of the etyl acetate extract and the most active fractions (third fraction). The extract exhibited antioxidant activity in DPPH method with EC50 of 478,486 µg/ml and 466,011 µg/ml for fraction. Chemical analysis was indicated that the antioxidative compound in the fruits was flavonoid group.en_US
