Kesantunan Berbahasa pada Roasting Kiky Saputri dalam Acara "Lapor Pak!" dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Alternatif Materi Menyusun Naskah Lawakan Tunggal di SMA
Abstract
This research is motivated by the widespread criticism conveyed with
humor on social media and TV or what can be called stand-up comedy. Even
though it is said only as a joke, when the joke is directed at someone or a group of
people, it must use polite language. The purpose of this research is to find the
realization of language politeness, politeness strategies, and their use in learning.
This research design is qualitative research with descriptive research type. The
data in this research are speech segments and their context in Kiky Saputri's stand
up comedy in the event "Lapor Pak!" in the form of words, clauses, or sentences
that are indicated as polite, quite polite, and not polite speech. The data source in
this research is the speech at Kiky Saputri's roasting at the "Lapor Pak!" period
2021-2023. The data collection technique in this research uses documentation,
listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique in this research
uses interactive analysis techniques with stages of data collection, data reduction,
data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the
research show that (1) the realization of language politeness in the roasting of
Kiky Saputri in the "Lapor Pak!" event, namely language politeness that is polite
and quite polite, (2) the strategy used in the roasting of Kiky Saputri in the "Lapor
Pak!" event, namely positive politeness strategies, negative politeness strategies,
and vagueness, (3) this study can be used as an alternative material for writing
single joke scripts in class X high school.
