    Abstract
    This research was conducted with the aim of improving students' learning activities and outcomes on the material of light and nature using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The type of research used is classroom action research which was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects used were 27 students of grade V of SDN Supiturang 04. The data collection instruments used were student learning activity observation sheets and student learning outcome test instruments. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by flipbooks can improve students' learning activities and outcomes. This is indicated by the results of students' learning activities classically before the action of 31%, then increased after the action by 60% in cycle I, and increased again to 78% in cycle II. Learning outcomes also increased where before the action the average classically was 43, then increased to 68 in cycle I, and increased again to 84 in cycle II. Therefore, students' learning activities and outcomes can increase after implementing the Problem Based Learning model assisted by flipbooks.
