Evaluasi Kesesuaian Lahan Berbasis Kerawanan Banjir di Kecamatan Sampang
Abstract
Flooding is the most frequent disaster in Sampang Sub-district, which is part of the urban area of Sampang Regency. The impact of flooding has an impact on urban activities that become obstructed. This research was conducted to evaluate land suitability based on flood-prone areas in Sampang Sub-district.by integrating GIS spatial modeling with descriptive analysis of affected land use. The process of determining flood areas uses the Change Detection method using Sentinel-1 SAR. The parameters used in making flood vulnerability maps in Sampang Subdistrict are Flow Accumulation, Stream Power Index (SPI), Curvature, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Topographic Position Index (TPI), soil type, land cover, Topographic Wetness Index (TWI), distance from river, elevation, and slope. All parameters were tested using the multicollinearity test to see the relationship between parameters. The multicollinearity test results show a value below 0.8 which means that there is no relationship between parameters. Based on the calculation of Frequency Ratio, the highest value of Predictor Rate (PR) is the height parameter and the lowest is the TWI parameter. The results of flood vulnerability mapping show that the highest vulnerability class is in the high vulnerability class, which is 29.67% of the total study area. The result of overlay between flood vulnerability and land use in Sampang Sub-district, the most affected land use is dry land agriculture. While the overlay between flood vulnerability and the spatial pattern of Sampang Regency in 2012-2032, the very high vulnerability class is dominated by the spatial pattern of irrigated rice fields.
