Analisis Efek Temperatur pada Korosi Besi dalam Pb-Mg Cair Berdasarkan Koefisien Difusi dan Nilai CNA Struktur Besi Menggunakan Simulasi Dinamika Molekul
Abstract
Corrosion of iron in molten lead occurs at high temperatures, diffusion occurs due to thermal energy that pushes the iron atoms in the system to cross the activation energy limit. At certain temperatures diffusion can occur faster, this phenomenon is simulated using the molecular dynamics method. The study was conducted by analyzing the effect of temperature on iron corrosion based on the diffusion coefficient. Diffusion occurs faster as the temperature increases. Analysis of the CNA value of the iron structure shows that with increasing temperature the iron structure degrades, causing iron atoms to dissolve in the Pb-Mg liquid metal.
