Hubungan Literasi Gizi dengan Perilaku Makan pada Remaja Kawasan Agrikultur di SMAN Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Adolescence requires nutritional intake because of significant changes that occur. 
Nutrition fulfillment is related to lifestyle and eating behavior of adolescents. 
Most adolescents have not implemented healthy eating behavior well, marked by 
their eating habits, often skipping breakfast, rarely consume vegetables and 
fruitst, more eating fast food and not reading food labels. Nutritional literacy can 
help adolescent to be more careful in choosing food. The purpose of this study 
was to analyze the relationship between nutritional literacy and eating behavior 
in adolescents. This study used a cross sectional research design and used a 
stratified random sampling with a total sample of 212 students. The instruments 
used were nutritional literacy questionnaires and healthy eating behavior 
questionnaires. The results showed that the majority of adolescents had a 
moderate level of nutritional literacy, namely 176 students (83.0%) and 166 
students (78.3%) of the total respondents had bad eating habits. The results of the 
study using bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between 
nutritional literacy and eating behavior in adolescents with a p-value 0.0001 
(<0.05).
