    Abstract
    The learning process standards in Indonesia have changed with the development of the curriculum, which is now called the merdeka curriculum. The process standards include learning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. The purpose of this study is to analyze and discribe the implementation of the merdeka curriculum learning process standards, the obstacles faced by teachers and efforts to overcome these obstacles in grade four elementary schools in Ngebel sub-district, Ponorogo. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection methods in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The resuts of this study in indicate that the implementation of the independent curriculum learning process standards in fourth grade elementary school in Ngebel sub-district, Ponorogo is very well implemented with a persentage of 88,1%. The obstacles experienced by teachers include difficulties in preparing teaching modules, maintaning student concentration, different student characteristics, and in learning assessment. Efforts made by teachers to overcome these obstacles are by discussing with peer teachers, colleagues in KKG, or with principal, searching for information on digital platforms, participating in webinar activities that are in accordance with learning needs, approaching students, and holding remissions for students with insufficient scores.
