    Abstract
    The production of well X in the Sukowati field showed a decrease in October 2023, namely 216 BOPD, November 194 BOPD and December to 184 BOPD with 91% water cut. Over time the water cut rate will continue to increase which causes the well to be uneconomical. This research identifies when well production is uneconomical and requires the installation of an appropriate Electrical Submersible Pump. then the calculation of economics is carried out with the calculation of Lifting Cost and POT. The method used in this research includes several analysis steps to determine when a well cannot flow naturally (Natural Flow) and design the right ESP Well as a solution to reduce the production rate that occurs so that the well is economical again. This research uses journals, books, theses, or other reference sources as a basis to support the research. DCA shows Qo reaches the company's minimum production limit in December 2034 when Pr 2215.5 psia and Pwf 2008 psia and water cut 97.74% has Qo 49 BOPD. So that the installation of ESP is needed, the screening results of 3 ESP pumps show that the CENTRILIFT P31 Pump is the most suitable pump for the X well conditions. The ESP design obtained is the CENTRILIFT P31 ESP pump at a depth of 2143.64 ft with a frequency of 60 Hz and 124 Stage. Increased production from 49 BOPD to 96 BOPD. Lifting cost per day after ESP installation amounted to $831.38 with Pay Out Time of 27 days.
