Pengembangan Modul Berbantuan Augmented Reality Sebagai Media Pengenalan Tumbuhan Anggrek Untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA
Abstract
The utilization of technology in education is one of the positive forms of technological develop. However, the application of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in education in Indonesia is still in its early stages and is not maximally and evenly utilized. It has an impact on students creative thinking skills which are still low due to the lack of varied learning media. One of the utilization of technology in learning is the use of Augmented Reality to develop a learning modules with the indicators to improve creative thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to develop modules that apply AR visual technology and to improve creative thinking skills on orchid plant structure. This research was conducted at Purwodadi Botanic Gardens and University of Jember by using Thiagarajan’s 4D Develop Model. The developed module used Paphiopedilum spp. as material content. The module preparation includes observation; information search on orchids through relevant literatures and interview; image capture and editing into 3D objects using 3D blender and Assembler Edu applications and barcode and link formation for the content in the module. The module's content and construct validities were evaluated by 3 experts while it's readability was assessed by undergraduate science education students taking Plant Structure and Function subject. The results showed that the module has S-CVI content validity of 0.82 (very high validity), construct validity of 89% (very valid),and readability criteria of 89% (easy). Therefore, the module is proper to use and easy to understand.
