Kontribusi Avusturya Turk-Islam Birligi (ATIB) dalam Pemenuhan Hak Migran Muslim Turki di Austria
Abstract
Turkish Muslims are the largest migrant population in Austria. Despite their significant numbers and contributions to the economy, the welfare of Turkish Muslim migrants remains inadequately addressed by the Austrian government. In contrast, the Avusturya Türk-İslam Birliği (ATIB) operates in Austria with the primary aim of fulfilling the rights of Turkish Muslim migrants that the Austrian government fails to provide. This study analyzes the contributions and interests of Turkey through ATIB in Austria using concepts of national interest, national security, diaspora, and the role of diaspora. This study found that ATIB's contributions are rooted in Turkiye's national interest, implemented through programs aligned with Turkiye's existential values. The primary national interest of Turkiye through ATIB is to preserve the identity of Turkish Muslim citizens, ensuring they receive their rightful entitlements as Muslims, similar to those they would have in Turkiye.
