Analisis Evakuasi Penumpang Km Dharma Rucitra VIII yang Dimodifikasi dari Kapal Cargo Menjadi Kapal Ferry
Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the level of safety on KM ships. Dharma
rucitra VIII in terms of passenger evacuation. KM. The Dharma Rucitra VIII ship
underwent a change in function, changing from a cargo ship to a ferry ship with a
roll on-roll off type of ship. Therefore, further studies are needed regarding ship
safety regarding passenger evacuation times. This research uses the Advanced
Evacuation Analysis method. Based on the results of the research that has been
carried out, it was concluded that during the evacuation of passengers and crew
there were 2 cases used, namely the night case and the day case. In each case
there is a different initial response, each initial response refers to the
IMO.MSC.1/Circ1033 standard, while the speed of the passengers themselves has
different speeds according to gender and age range referring to these standards.
IMO.MSC.1/Circ.1238. There are evacuation time results: At night using the
(SFPE) method it is 38'30" minutes, while at night using the (Steering) method it
is 41'7" minutes, then for daytime cases using the (SFPE) method it is 30'1"
minutes, while for daytime using the (Steering) method it is 32'3" minutes. The
results obtained will be adjusted to the IMO.MSC.1/Circ.1238 standard. Standard
time used on KM ships. Dharma Rucitra has a maximum of 80 minutes because
the ship has more than 3 MVZ (Main Vertical Zone).
