Hubungan Kualitas Tidur dengan Konsentrasi Belajar pada Remaja di Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Learning concentration is a problem that is often experienced by students in Indonesia, especially teenagers. Decreased learning concentration is also caused by poor sleep quality in students because sleep is something that is needed by every human being, especially adolescents. If someone has less sleep, it can cause mood and lack of performance at school. The purpose of this study was to identify sleep quality, learning concentration, and analyze the relationship between sleep quality and adolescent learning concentration in Jember Regency. This research is quantitative in nature using a cross-sectional study research design with a total sample size of 103 samples using the quota sampling method. Data obtained through two questionnaires, namely sleep quality questionnaire and study concentration questionnaire processed using SPSS using spearman rank test. The results of this study indicate that the majority of students at Al-Ghozali IT Junior High School have poor sleep quality as many as 89 people (86.4%) and have poor learning concentration as many as 50 people (48.5%). The results of bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank correlation test obtained a p value of 0.042. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and study concentration in adolescents in Jember Regency.
