Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Brain-Based Learning Menggunakan Media Call Cards pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA
Abstract
In this 21st century, education has grown rapidly in terms of knowledge. This increase in knowledge is supported by the application of appropriate models and media. One of them is by applying the Brain-Based Learning model using the Call Card media. The application of both can empower the potential of the student's brain as a whole in processing and thinking. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the Brain-Based Learning model using Call Cards media on the interest and learning outcomes of high school students. This type of research was a quasi-experiment. Data were obtained based on interest questionnaire, pre-test and post-test (cognitive domain learning outcomes), and observation sheet (affective and psychomotor domain learning outcomes). The analysis of data results used was divided into 2, namely ANAKOVA test (learning interest and cognitive learning outcomes) and t-test (affective and psychomotor learning outcomes). Based on the analysis of learning interest, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes obtained sig. (2-tailed) ˂0.05 value of 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, and 0.002, respectively. Based on this data, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class on student interest and learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was an effect of applying brain-based learning model using calling card media on the interest and learning outcomes of high school students.
