Hubungan Gaya Hidup Sehat dengan Premenstrual Syndrome (Pms) pada Remaja Putri di Smk 17 Agustus 1945 Muncar Kabupaten Banyuwangi
Abstract
Healthy lifestyle is an action to maintain or improve health so that it can have a
good impact on health. Healthy lifestyle is one of the non-pharmacological for
premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Physical, psychological and behavioral changes,
as well as difficulties in interpersonal relationships and daily activities, are signs
of PMS in adolescent. Risk factors that can increase the occurance of PMS are
biological factors, reproductive factors, lifestyle factors and social factors. This
study aims to determine whether there is a relationship of healthy lifestyle with
incidence of PMS in female adolescents. The method used was cross sectional
with purposive sampling technique, the sample was 65 female adolescents at SMK
17 Agustus 1945 Muncar. This study showed that the number of female adolescent
who had a poor healthy lifestyle with moderate PMS there are 5 female
adolescents and severe PMS there are 2 female adolescents. Number of female
adolescents who had a good healthy lifestyle with mild PMS there are 10 female
adolescents, moderate PMS there are 15 female adolescents and severe PMS
there are 33 female adolescents. Data analysis in this study showed that there was
a significant relation between healthy lifestyle with incidence of PMS in female
adolescents (Asymp. Sig. 0,042). In this study was if a healthy lifestyle is improved
then PMS will be optimal. Suggestions from this study is the existence of health
promotion related to a healthy lifestyle, especially in female adolescents who
experience PMS.
