Hubungan Motivasi Orang Tua dengan Sikap Disiplin Anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama dalam Mematuhi Protokol Kesehatan 6M Di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19 di SMPN 01 Jombang Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Meanwhile in Indonesia, the spread of Covid-19 was discovered for the first time since March 2 2020. As of June 22 2021 the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia had reached 1,989,909 positive cases, 1,792,528 recovered cases and 54,662 mortality cases (Covid-19 Task Force). , 2021). Furthermore, the number of confirmed cases in East Java reached 165,013 cases and the number of Covid-19 patients who died was 12,231 people as of June 22 2021. One of the districts that contributed to the increase in Covid-19 cases in East Java was Jember Regency, the number of confirmed cases as of June 22 2021 in Jember Regency reached 7,223 cases. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling with a total sample of 150 student respondents and 150 parent respondents. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between parents' motivation and children's discipline in complying with the 6M health protocol in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic as evidenced by the results of the correlation test which has a value of 0.019 <0.05. the direction of the correlation is positive, namely 0.019, so that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional, thus it can be interpreted that the more parents' motivation is increased, the child's discipline attitude will also increase.
