Analisis Penggunaan Campur Kode dalam Konten Video Kanal YouTube Ria SW Kajian Sosiolinguistik
Abstract
This article discusses the types and forms of code mixing in Ria SW’s YouTube channel videos entitled “MINDING IN HANOI #01” and ‘HANOI NIGHT MARKET #02”. This research uses qualitative research with a sociolinguistic approach to Hoffman and Suwito’s theory. The aim of this research is to describe the level of code mixing studied based on the dimensions of the types and forms of code mixing as well as the factors behind the code mixing. Research data was collected using the observation method and analyzed using Hoffman and Suwito’s theory. The research result show that there are three forms of code mixing in the form of word, phrases and code mixing in the form sentences. Meanwhile, there are three factors behind code mixing, related to the linguistic factor to the expression, namely the speaker inserting certain language in his speech, the intellectual factor related to the fact that the speaker is highly educated and the factor of attracting by inserting language elements to show familiarity and be easy to understand.
