Studi Kerusakan Pantai Berdasarkan SE KP Pantai (Studi Kasus: Pantai Pancer, Puger)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze coastal damage at Pancer Puger Beach using a
weighting system method in accordance with Circular Letter Number
11/Se/D/2021 concerning Guidelines for Criteria for Coastal Safety Planning at
the Directorate General of Water Resources. Pancer Puger Beach is one of the
beaches that is facing damage problems due to various factors, such as coastal
erosion and rising sea levels. Therefore, research is needed to evaluate the level
of coastal damage and formulate effective coastal protection solutions.
This study uses a weighting system method to assess the level of coastal damage
based on the criteria set out in Circular Letter Number 11/Se/D/2021 . These
criteria include geological and geomorphological aspects, erosion levels, flood
potential, socio-economic conditions, and environmental impacts. Each criterion
will be given a certain weight according to the level of importance in determining
the level of coastal damage. The data used in this study were obtained from field
surveys and related literature studies. The analysis was carried out using a
weighting system technique to assign a score to each criterion and calculate the
overall level of coastal damage. The results of this study will provide a clearer
picture of the level of damage to the coast at Pancer Puger Beach and become the
basis for formulating recommendations for protecting the beach according to the
location conditions. It is hoped that the results of this research can be an
important contribution in efforts to preserve the coast and provide input for
related parties to take appropriate steps in dealing with coastal damage at Pancer
Puger Beach. In addition, this research can also be a reference for further
research related to coastal management and mitigating the impact of climate
change on coastal areas.
