Abstract
This research focuses on political sarcasm video content on social media
Tik Tok which is seen as an identity represented through social space. The issues
used in this research are the issue of racism, the issue of the equality of religions
of the Indonesian president, democracy, and the issue of ratifying the RKUHP.
The data used in this study amounted to 9 video content taken based on the most
viewers on Udinkasiwagi, Santoontv, and Gianluigich accounts. The
determination of the three research subjects is based on their contents which
represent political sarcasm. In addition, seeing followers as an illustration of how
messages are exchanged on the Tik Tok social media space. The results of the
study show that the representation of the lower class society does not have access
to bureaucratic power, political power, and access to power so that the video
content represented is a form of political communication used by the actors
Udinkasiwagi, Santoontv, and Gianluigich to criticize the government. In that
sense, criticism is aimed at President Jokowi's government which is seen as
queuing for criticism, rampant corruption practices by the DPR, gaps in legal
justice, and the pros and cons of the ratification of the RKUHP which are
expressed in the language that is often used. The language markers include
Konoha, Ninja Parliament, Red Bull Party, Tsunade Senjuwati, and White Zetsu
which are used to refer to the president, state, DPR, FPI, PDIP party, and
Megawati's mother so as to produce three positions in the analysis of reception
encoding decoding. The three positions are the dominant hegemonic position, the
negotiating position, and the oppositional position.
