Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament terhadap Hasil Belajar Pokok Bahasan Jaring-Jaring Kubus dan Balok pada Siswa Kelas V di SD NU 03 Nurul Huda
Abstract
Students are less active and focused during learning activities in class, so
student learning outcomes are low. In addition, students have difficulty determining
the pattern of cube and block nets, it is necessary to have a team games tournament
type of cooperative learning model to support the learning process so that students
are more active and focused during learning and better understand the material.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the cooperative
learning model of the team games tournament type to student learning outcomes on
the subject of nets of cubes and blocks in fifth grade students at SD NU 03 Nurul
Huda. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent
control group design pattern. Methods of data collection using the method of
observation, interviews, documentation, and tests in the form of multiple choice
questions on the pre-test and post-test in the cognitive domain. Research
instruments include observation guides, interview guides, documentation and test
sheets. The development of test instruments includes testing the validity of the
instrument, reliability test, index of differentiating power, and index of difficulty
level of the test instrument. Data analysis techniques used normality test, t-test, and
relative effectiveness test. The results showed that there was an increase in learning
outcomes using the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type.
It could be seen from the average post-test score for the experimental class, which
was 78.5, while the control class was 65.6. Student learning outcomes obtained in
the experimental class using the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games
Tournament type show more effectiveness, namely 52.24%.
