Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran IPA Berbasis Real Picture Analysis (RPA) untuk Membangun Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP
Abstract
Science learning is currently directed at preparing students to successfully
fulfill 21st century skills with critical thinking skills being the most basic skills.
Learning is a communication process between educators and students which
requires a medium to bridge the communication process in learning activities. The
aim of this research is to produce a development product in the form of a Real
Picture Analysis (RPA) based science learning module that can build critical
thinking skills and student learning outcomes. The RPA-based science learning
module is a learning media in the form of a module that integrates real phenomena
in the environment around students in the form of images which are then linked to
the science concept being studied. In the context of developing teaching materials,
the quality of the product being developed is determined by three quality aspects,
including validity, practicality and effectiveness. The type of research used is 4-D
model development research (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results
of the research show that the RPA-based science learning module has a validity of
95% (very valid), practicality for students and observers of 81% (very good) and
95% (very good), as well as effectiveness in building critical thinking skills with a
score of N-gain 0.66 (medium) and 0.72 (high) to build learning outcomes. So, it
can be concluded that the RPA-based science learning module developed is valid,
practical and effective for building critical thinking skills and student learning
outcomes.
