Pengembangan Handout Berbasis Kesehatan Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Masyarakat
Abstract
Stunting is a chronic condition that depicts impaired growth. One of the indirect factors affecting the high prevalence of malnutrition among toddlers is the low understanding among parents regarding their children's nutritional needs. Handouts were chosen as teaching materials to be implemented within the community due to their optimal practicality and perceived effectiveness in aiding individuals' comprehension of the content delivered. The development model employed was the ADDIE model comprising five stages: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. This media development aimed to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of health-based handouts in enhancing the community's understanding of stunting. The validity results yielded an 82.05% rating categorized as valid, allowing for implementation in the Kemiri village community. Practicality achieved a score of 85.12%, classified as highly practical. The N-gain value obtained was 0.86, falling into the high category, indicating an improvement in the community's conceptual understanding.
