Gaya Bahasa Sindiran Kiki Saputri dalam Stand Up Comedy Roasting Pejabat Negara dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Alternatif Materi Pembelajaran Teks Anekdot di SMA Kelas X
Abstract
Kiki Saputri is one of the comics who often criticizes state officials when doing stand up comedy. The use of Kiki Saputri's sarcastic language style was chosen as the object of research because Kiki Saputri has her own way of satirizing the person she is addressing, namely by delivering words with an interesting and funny language style, but not forgetting the meaning to be conveyed in her comedy. The focus of this research is to determine how the form and function of Kiki Saputri's satirical language style in stand up comedy roasting state officials as well as its utilization as an alternative learning material for anecdotal texts in grade X high school. This research is a qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The approach in this research uses a rhetorical approach with a focus on the study of five rhetorical canons (inventio, dispositio, elocutio, memoria, pronontiatio). The data in this research is in the form of Kiki Saputri's stand-up comedy speech when criticizing state officials which contains the use of satire language style. The data source in this research is obtained from five videos of Kiki Saputri's stand up comedy on YouTube. The data collection techniques used in this research are documentation techniques and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis technique. The results of the study state that the satire language styles used by Kiki Saputri in stand up comedy roasting state officials are irony, cynicism, sarcasm, antiphrasis, and innuendo. The functions of the language styles found are the functions of criticizing, mocking, reprimanding, and making people aware. The results of this study can be used as an alternative learning material for anecdote texts in class X high schools, namely in the basic competencies 3.6 analyzing the structure and language of anecdotal texts.
