Evaluasi Produktivitas Alat Muat dan Angkut Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) di Pit XYZ Tambang Tembaga Wetar PT Merdeka Copper Gold
Abstract
The productivity of mechanical equipment is one of the things that needs to be considered in mining operations. The copper ore productivity target that has been set is 200,0000 tons/month. This research aims to analyze the factors that affect productivity and optimize the productivity of loading and hauling equipment using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness method to achieve the targets that have been set. The research was conducted at PT Merdeka Copper Gold. The specific research location is Pit XYZ which is managed by a subsidiary, PT Batutua Kharisma Permai. Research begins with the formulation of problems and searching for literature that could support the research. The theoretical productivity calculation for loading equipment is 173,580.80 tons/month while for hauling equipment it is 173,445.42 tons/month. Meanwhile, the actual productivity obtained by the company was 173,000 tons/month. From the results of calculations and data obtained from the company, the productivity of loading and hauling equipment still has not reached the target set by the company. The company's target is 200,000 tons/month, so optimization is needed to achieve the monthly production targets. Analysis of data from processing results shows that there are actual obstacle times and actual cycle times that are less than optimal which means productivity does not achieve targets. Meanwhile, the MF value is 0.95 or close to 1 so there is no need to increase the number of equipment to decrease cost operations. The optimization was carried out reducing the obstacle time by taking a mode below the average and determining a planned cycle time. The planned cycle time for loading equipment is 25 seconds and for hauling equipment is 1080 seconds or 18 minutes. Optimization to increase productivity using the OEE method succeeded in increasing the productivity of loading equipment to 256,154.74 tons/month and transporting equipment to 249,433.39 tons/month.
