Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share untuk Meningkatkan Hasil dan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa pada Tema 2 Subtema 3 Kelas IV SDN Wonorejo 01 Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
The problem faced is the low engagement of students and a decrease in students'
grades when working on assignments in class compared to working on
assignments at home. Initial observations also indicated a low level of
engagement, with few students actively responding to teacher questions. This
research aims to understand the implementation of the cooperative learning
model using the Think Pair Share technique in enhancing learning outcomes and
student learning activities in Theme 2, Subtheme 3, for 4th-grade students at SDN
Wonorejo 01, Jember District. The research method employed is a qualitative
approach using a classroom action research design. The research participants
are 4th-grade students at SDN Wonorejo 01. Data is collected through interviews
with teachers, observations, and documentation. In conclusion, the application of
cooperative learning using the Think Pair Share technique in Theme 2, Subtheme
3, for 4th-grade students at SDN Wonorejo 01, Jember District significantly
improves students' social studies learning outcomes and learning activities. This
technique is effective in enhancing students' understanding of social studies
learning materials and fostering student engagement in the learning process
